THE EXPERIENCE
There’s so much more to a wedding day than the moments you planned.
My approach is centered around what’s happening naturally—the people you love, the anticipation before the ceremony, the quick glances across the room, the wind catching your veil, the champagne spills, and all the little moments happening in between.
When it comes to portraits, I’ll step in with direction when it’s helpful, creating photographs that feel a little more intentional and editorial without taking you out of the moment.
I don’t want your wedding day to feel like one long photoshoot. I want you to have the space to actually experience it.
The result is a gallery that holds all of it: the beautiful portraits, the people, the place, the energy, and the moments you didn’t even realize I was photographing.
tHE PROCESS
01 — CHOOSE YOUR COVERAGE
Every wedding looks a little different. Maybe you’re planning an intimate ceremony in the mountains followed by dinner in town. Maybe you’re bringing everyone you love together for an entire wedding day. Or maybe it’s just the two of you exchanging vows somewhere beautiful.
Choose the coverage that gives your day enough room to unfold without feeling rushed.
02 — RESERVE YOUR DATE
Once you’ve decided on your coverage, a signed contract and 25% retainer officially reserve your wedding date.
From there, we can start planning the photography around the day you’re creating.
03 — WEDDING PREP
I’ll send over a questionnaire to learn more about the two of you, your plans, the people who matter most, and the moments you’re especially excited about.
We’ll work through your photography timeline together so there’s enough time for the photographs you want without building your entire day around the camera.
For Crested Butte weddings and elopements, I can also help with locations, timing, light, and the little logistical pieces that come with getting married in the mountains.
04 — YOUR WEDDING DAY
This is the easy part.
Enjoy your people. Get married. Drink the champagne. Dance. Wander into the mountains. Let the weather do whatever Colorado weather decides to do.
I’ll be there documenting it as it happens.
05 — YOUR GALLERY
After your wedding, I’ll carefully select and individually edit your photographs in my signature style.
Your final images are delivered within 4-6 weeks in a private, high-resolution online gallery ready to download, print, and share.
No choosing favorites and no additional image fees.

Need more time? Additional coverage can always be added so the important parts of your day never have to feel squeezed into the timeline.
A second photographer is also available for couples who want more coverage throughout the day—multiple getting-ready locations, additional angles during the ceremony, more guest moments, and everything happening in between.
You can also add rehearsal dinner or welcome-party coverage, or an engagement session. We can customize your coverage around your plans so you’re only adding what actually makes sense for your day.
Your gallery includes all of your final images in high resolution, ready to download, share, and print. No extra fees, no choosing favorites, and nothing more to purchase.
HOW TO BOOK
Reach out with your wedding details, preferred date, and a little about what you’re planning.
From there, we can set up a quick phone consultation to talk through your day, or if you’d rather keep things over email, that works too.
Once you’re ready to book, I’ll send over your contract along with a link to pay the 25% non-refundable retainer. Once those are complete, you’re officially booked and your date is yours.
But the communication doesn’t stop there. I’ll be here throughout the planning process to help with timelines, locations, photo questions, and anything else that comes up along the way.
PLANNING YOUR DAY
You don’t need to know exactly how much photography time everything requires. That’s part of my job.
Once I know what you’re planning, I’ll help build a photography timeline around the moments that matter most while leaving some breathing room in the day.
We’ll consider getting ready, first looks, ceremony timing, family photographs, wedding party photographs, portraits of the two of you, travel between locations, and the best evening light.
The goal isn’t to fill every minute.
A little space in the timeline gives us room for the unexpected moments that usually end up being some of my favorites.
GETTING READY
The beginning of a wedding day has its own energy.
Music playing. Dresses hanging from doorways. Someone looking for a missing earring. Champagne being poured. Parents walking in and getting emotional before anyone expected them to.
Getting-ready coverage isn’t only about photographing the finishing touches. It gives the beginning of your day some context.
If possible, choose a space with good natural light and keep one area near a window relatively clear.
Beyond that, don’t worry about making everything perfect.
FIRST LOOK OR NO FIRST LOOK?
There isn’t a right answer.
A first look can give the two of you a quiet moment together before everything begins and can allow us to complete some portraits earlier in the day.
Waiting until the ceremony creates an entirely different kind of anticipation.
Both photograph beautifully.
Choose the one that feels more like you.
THE CEREMONY
This is the part you don’t need to think about photography at all.
Walk slowly. Look at each other. Take in the people who came all this way to be there.
If you laugh during your vows, laugh. If you cry, cry. If the wind blows everything sideways, we’ll work with it.
Nothing needs to happen perfectly to photograph beautifully.
Just be there.
FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS
Of course we’ll take them — and we’ll keep it easy.
Before the wedding, I’ll have you send over a list of the family combinations that are most important to you. Having that ready helps us move through them quickly without making anyone feel rushed.
We’ll get the photographs your parents and grandparents will love having framed, then get everyone back to celebrating.
PORTRAITS
You don’t need to know how to pose.
I’ll give you direction when you need it—where to stand, where to walk, what to do with your hands—and then give you enough room to settle into it.
We might walk down a dirt road, head toward the mountains, step away from the reception for ten minutes at sunset, or simply find somewhere quiet.
Some photographs will feel more editorial and intentional. Others will happen completely on their own.
There’s room for both.
A FEW REMINDERS
CRESTED BUTTE WEDDINGS
There are very few places quite like getting married here. Open valleys, winding rivers, aspen groves, dirt roads, mountain passes, and views that somehow look different every time the light changes. Whether you’re getting married at a venue, on private property, or somewhere tucked into the mountains, we’ll think about how the landscape fits naturally into your photographs. The mountains are part of the story without having to become the entire production.
A NOTE ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS
Mountain weather has a mind of its own. Sunshine can turn into clouds. Wind happens. Temperatures drop quickly once the sun disappears. A forecast can change completely within a few hours. I keep an eye on conditions leading up to your wedding, particularly when we’re planning outdoor portraits or an elopement. Unless conditions are genuinely unsafe, we’ll work with what the mountains give us. Clouds can be beautiful. Wind creates movement. A little weather can make things interesting. For elopements and mountain portraits, bring comfortable shoes and an extra layer. You can always change into your wedding shoes once we’re where we want to be.
THE LITTLE THINGS
There are the photographs everyone expects. The dress. The rings. The ceremony. The first kiss. The portraits. And then there are all the things you didn’t put on a timeline.
Your mom watching you get ready. Your best friend fixing your dress. Someone crying during the vows. Your grandparents dancing. A kid asleep under a reception table. The way everything looks five minutes after a summer storm rolls through.
Those photographs matter just as much. I’m always looking for them.
DURING YOUR WEDDING
You’ll never be left wondering what to do when we’re intentionally creating portraits. I’ll direct when direction is helpful.
The rest of the time, I want you focused on your wedding—not your photographer.
I’m constantly watching the room, anticipating moments, and photographing what’s happening without interrupting it.
Not everything needs to be staged. Not everything needs to be repeated for the camera.
I’d rather photograph you living it.
AFTER YOUR WEDDING
This is where I take over.
Every photograph is individually selected and edited in my signature style while keeping skin tones, colors, and the landscape feeling natural.
Your finished photographs are delivered through a private online gallery where you can download your high-resolution files, share them with friends and family, and order prints.
I don’t hold back photographs simply to meet a number. If an image belongs in the story of your day, it’s going in your gallery.
PRINT YOUR PHOTOS
Your gallery includes high-resolution files and full printing rights.
Print the photograph where everyone’s laughing instead of looking at the camera. Put the quiet one on your wall. Send copies to your parents.
These photographs shouldn’t live only on your phone or computer.
